Quantification of respiration and excretion rates

Available literature of metabolic rate in European lobster is sparse. In order to dimention RAS set-ups adequatly, more knowledge on basic respiration- and excretion rates are needed. Norwegian Lobster Farm is currently undertaking a comprehensive study together with the research institutes IRIS and AqVisor AS in Stavanger, and IMR in Bergen .
